When choosing the outer waterproof layer for a nappy the choice is normally limited to fabrics which have been laminated with a layer of polyurethane (PUL). This takes time and money and means the choices are limited.

The alternative is using plain PUL and adding an extra non-waterproof layer on the outside. This is known as 'hidden PUL' as the waterproof layer is not visible.

Hidden PUL has often been unreliable and caused leaking onto the outer layer.....

.....however, Pocket Bots have been working on making hidden PUL more reliable - and we've done it!!

The process involves an extra stage of sewing and so a bit more work but I hope you agree its well worth it as now you can have a Pocket Bots in just about any fabric without the compromise.
